The Children's Code: A role for schools

This session looks at the Children's Code and it’s recognition that children should be given special treatment when it comes to their personal data. Ger Graus and Julia Cooke discuss what that actually means for children, parents, schools and the EdTech sector.

Please feel free to access these additional school resources for teachers specifically on the Children’s code. This can be used to help children identify where they can go to for support, including what they should do if they suspect an app, game or website is misusing their data or not conforming to the Children’s code.”

Prof Dr Ger Graus OBE, Director, Board Member, Global Education Adviser, Member of Bett's Global Education Council

Julia Cooke, Principal Policy Adviser - Information Commissioner's Office
