On Saturday, January 26, 2019, Performance Learning and Bett are collaborating to organise a unique day of training and workshops for students, parents and teachers at the Bett event in Excel, London.
The aim is to inspire young people to have a more resilient, focused mindset; and aim to empower teachers to support them with the right tools. Performance Learning and Bett are working to bring together young people, teachers and parents from schools to help everyone understand critical principles around four main areas that can help young people take more control of their lives.
Workshops for students and teachers will be delivered by Becky Arnold, Deputy Headteacher and Aoife Galletly, Assistant Headteacher, covering the following themes:
- The importance of sleep
- Managing exam anxiety
- Mastering memory
- Mental health and wellbeing
Alongside these sessions we have invited influencers to share stories about their careers and lives, which will be showcased on the Arena at the Bett event.
All workshops and talks are free to attend.
