How do I download the Official Bett 2020 mobile app?

You can access the platform on mobile devices via the Connect@Bett app or on desktop

Please note that you need to register to access the matchmaking service. Once you complete your registration for Bett 2020 you will receive an email with your Connect@Bett account details.

What is Connect@Bett?

Connect@Bett is a dedicated matchmaking service that Bett provides to both visitors and exhibitors to help establish meaningful connections before and during the show. It's based on AI technology and triggers recommendations based on common interests captured from visitors and exhibitors during registration. As a Bett 2020 app user, you will see who has sent an invitation to meet you within the app, and you can accept the invitation to meet as you wish. In addition to that you are able to build your own content agenda and create customisable maps by filtering suppliers and products.

Do I need to pay to use Connect@Bett?

You don’t need to pay to use Connect@Bett as we pride ourselves in providing the best solutions to our visitors and exhibitors.

*Note: If you are an exhibitor you have the option of going premium and gain access to: 100 meeting invites to send to visitors and the Connect@Bett lounge to host your meetings.

How do I access Connect@Bett?

To access Connect@Bett you must register for the show. Upon completing your visitor registration, you will receive a confirmation email that will contain your login details.

Can I update my Connect@Bett preferences once logged in?

Yes, you can change your preferences, interests and profile when accessing the platform.

What is included in the premium option for Exhibitors?

If you are an exhibitor, you have the option of upgrading your profile and gain access to: 100 meeting invites to send to visitors and the Connect@Bett lounge to host your meetings.

How does the matchmaking and meeting functionality work in Connect@Bett?

Once you're logged into Connect@Bett, you will find the recommendations screen where you can click "interested in" or "skip" based on who you want to meet. Those that you show an interest in will receive a notification. If they also send an "interest in” back to you it will mean a handshake happened, therefore you will be allowed to request a meeting with the other person at the show, as well as initiating a private chat with the them.

The default meeting location for standard exhibitors will be their stands, while premium exhibitors will have access to the Connect@Bett lounge at the show. 

What are the top tips to use the Official app and Connect@Bett?

We recommend activating your profile and logging on to the portal before the show, so you can pre-select the people that you want to meet and talk, bookmark the sessions you want to attend and receive any important announcements through the app. For ease, you might find the website application much easier to use to do all the pre planning but access the service through the Official mobile app when onsite in January.
