  • BUILD – CODE – LEARN

Students create and build incredible robotic machines using the wide range of elements in the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 Core Set . They then program their robots using the free LEGO MINDSTORMS Education EV3 software or app. Through this, students learn aspects of the computing curriculum and other STEM subjects, as well as solving problems, communicating, collaborating, learning from their mistakes and having fun!

  • The LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Education EV3 Expansion Set gives students an exciting range of additional LEGO elements. The set encourages them to build even more remarkable robots, develop more innovative solutions and promotes greater challenge and a depth of learning. It also adds to the fun and creativity of every build! Additional building instructions in the free software, introduce students to more complex ideas that can then be incorporated into their own designs and creations.

  • Pupils from Year 1 through to Year 6 build and program simple and exciting robots using familiar LEGO® bricks that they know and love, as well as more technical LEGO elements that introduce them to concepts related to machines and mechanisms. Pupils will learn aspects from the computing, science and DT programmes of study. They will be investigating, creating, persevering, testing, learning from their mistakes, and having lots of fun!

  • Make your train pause, stop, change direction, sound the horn, and more! Taking the familiarity of a train and combining it with the new action bricks, early learners will learn through play about sequencing, looping, conditional coding, and cause and effect by placing the new action bricks within the train’s track. Each action brick creates a specific action allowing for students to test and redesign ways to problem-solve and work together to get their train to its destination.

  • STEAM Park builds on every child’s natural curiosity and desire to create, explore, and investigate the world of early science, technology, engineering, art, and maths (STEAM) through creative play.

  • John has extensive teaching experience as Head of an ICT Faculty and as an Assistant Head teacher in a large secondary school. For the last ten years, he has worked for the Warwickshire Local Authority as part of the ICT Development Service; an organisation focused on raising standards through the use of technology.
