With so much in the education press about how the EBacc has negatively impacted the perceived value of the creative arts in schools, hear how Ortu Gable Hall school has bucked the trend and used music technology to make a real impact inside and out of the classroom. Ruti Olajugbagbe, the winner of The Voice UK 2018, will be demonstrating her exceptional talent at the start of the session, singing her Award-winning song ‘Dreams'. As a student who benefited from greatly from the Music curriculum at Ortu Gable Hall she joins the panel to discuss technology, its implementation, and music's place in the curriculum. The expert panel will explore how Ortu Gable Hall's decision to embed music technology into their curriculum from Key Stage 3 upwards has brought benefits to students both inside and out of the classroom.
