Karine is an award-winning educationalist and international keynote speaker with a passion for re-imagining the future. She was a headteacher for more than 20 years in a large junior school rated as outstanding by Ofsted, England’s school inspection and regulatory body. As an active research practitioner, she has a proven track record of creating and sharing new learning opportunities that link research, education and business environments together. She is and ardent advocate of the use of technology to support 21st century learning and has reported to the Department for Education on the use of technology.
Karine has worked in all sectors of education, empowering global organisations to develop, creative and committed leaders who get better results with simple solutions. She has a passion for driving transformation, specialising in leadership development, curriculum design and pedagogy.
Karine has written articles on a range of educational issues and was a contributing author to ‘Sustainable School Transformation: An Inside-Out School Led Approach’ (edited by David Crossley, Bloomsbury, 2013), which looks at how the rigour of traditional top-down accountability models can be combined with the engagement and buy-in of school-led “inside-out” approaches.
