The Bett Academy is our monthly series of CPD sessions for educators. Accredited and certified by Bett and CPDUK, these tutorials are streamed live at 4pm on the last Friday of every month. The Bett Academy is free to attend and CPD certificates are available for download at the end of each session.


Teaching and Leading Primary Computing: Support and Resources

In this session you will hear from Computing at School (CAS) and Barefoot Computing. You will gain an understanding of how CAS supports primary teachers along with how the materials from Barefoot Computing support teachers with teaching computing through unplugged methods with computational thinking concepts embedded. There will be live demonstrations, including some of Barefoots’ online and home learning activities. You will leave the session with an understanding of materials that you can use immediately to teach your pupils. All resources shared during this session are free.
