CEL has been invited to host a breakfast seminar at  BETT on Thursday 10 January.  The topic will be “The Leadership Challenge” and the seminar will focus on the key issues facing leaders in the FE sector as we try to maximise the benefits available from the use of e-learning and technology and win the hearts and minds of the entire workforce to adopt it fully.

FE Information Point

BETT will again feature an information point dedicated to the Further Education and post-16 sector. The Learning and Skills Network (LSN) will host the information point on their stand (H7) which can be found on the ground floor of the National Hall.

Visit the FE Information Point to ask questions about e Learning, the new eCPD framework, or anything else regarding FE and the post-16 sector. LSN will be happy to give you the benefit of their knowledge gained through their quality improvement and staff development programmes, as well as their organisation's involvement in research, training and consultancy.

Post 16 Education and Training Digital Content

AutoLAB from LJ Group won the 2007 BETT Award for Post 16 Education and Training Digital Content.

Autolab is a suite of multimedia learning materials that supports vocational training in Automotive Technology for the post-16 sector.  Students are engaged by videos, voice-over instruction and interactive tests whilst learning the practical and theoretical aspects of automotive technology.
