Seminar Details SEMINAR BOOKING CODE: SO11 The seminar will draw on the findings of the Niace book Screens and Pages -Technology and Reading for Pleasure • Do young people read less now there is so much choice of other mediums? • Do you think children would read more or less if we didn't have the internet? • Has the iPod had a negative impact on reading for pleasure? • What about the mobile phone? It will cover accessibility and reading on screen; online resources to encourage reading and how schools can respond to the needs and desires of 21st century learners.
