Seminars - Building Special Schools for the Future: A Case Study
Seminar Details SEMINAR BOOKING CODE: SE12 The Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme will see every state secondary school in England – around 3,500 in total – rebuilt or remodelled over the next 15-20 years. BSF is the largest and most ambitious scheme of its kind anywhere in the world, but it is not just a building programme: it aims to create learning environments which inspire all young people to reach their full potential; to provide teachers with 21st century workplaces; and to provide access to facilities which can be used by all members of the local community. This seminar aims to show how BSF is transforming schools for pupils with special educational needs (SEN). Ged McClinton, Education Director at PfS will talk about how the design, ICT and new facilities are improving the children’s lives and life chances in different ways.
