+ Policy in Practice Area

Understand Government initiatives, funding and their plans for the future at the Policy in Practice area.  Key Government agencies such as The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF), Becta, QCA, TDA, Partnerships for Schools (Building Schools for the Future), Specialist Schools and Academies Trust (SSAT), will be there to answer your questions.

+ Special Needs Zone

Explore ideas on inclusion and letting learners fulfil their potential at BETT’s dedicated SEN zone.  Be inspired and informed at the many sessions taking place in the Special Needs Seminar Theatre.  Find advice and information at the new SEN information point hosted by nasen.

+ Software Zone

Discover the hub of BETT’s innovative educational software in The Software Zone.  Find and compare the learning resources appropriate to your teaching needs.

Software Presentation Theatre
The zone will feature its own seminar theatre, where you can evaluate the latest software products and increase your understanding of how to get the most out of the software you currently use. 

All of these sessions are available free of charge on a first come, first served basis simply go along to the Software Presentation Theatre stand SW5 to participate.

Also within the Software Zone, on stand SW7, TEEM will offer advice and present case studies and reviews of the latest resources.

+ Training Zone

Outside of the main seminar programme is the Training Zone, located at the rear of the Grand Hall. Visit the Training Zone for exhibitor led workshops and free training. Sessions in the Training Zone cannot be pre-booked and are on a first come first served basis. Just visit the Training Zone to participate.

+ Subject Association Advice Centre

Learn about how ICT can help achieve more effective teaching and learning in your specific subject area. Advisors from the various subject associations will provide invaluable help and advice. Find out more HERE.

+ BESA Information Point

Find advice and answers at the BESA (British Educational Suppliers Association) information point at the heart of the Grand Hall.  BESA has been guiding people in education and setting the standards by which suppliers should operate for more than 75 years.

+ TEEM Software Information Point

Located right next to the Software Zone, this is the place to come for independent answers, advice and evaluations about the latest software and digital content.

Solve your technical questions at the Technical Info point run by EduGeek, a peer support group for educational helpdesk staff.

+ Special Needs Information Point

Hosted by nasen, the Special Needs Information Point is located in the heart of the Special Needs Zone (Stand SN62).

Staff will be available with help and advice on the special needs and inclusion products that can be found in the Zone and at the show in general.

The stand will also be where you can enter the Special Needs Zone prize draw. Look out for the entry forms handed out at all entrances to the show, you can then complete the form and enter at this information point for your chance to win.
