FOCUS AND CHALLENGES

ASUS is now a global player and the leading technology company in Taiwan with over 12,500 employees worldwide and makes products in almost every area of IT including PC components, peripherals, notebooks, tablets, servers and smartphones. In 2015, the company completed a process of aligning products with specific areas of opportunity, the primary one being the Education market in the UK and across Europe. By working with companies such as Microsoft and Google, the company is able to deliver a full solution to its customers. 2016 is very much about driving commercial growth for ASUS UK.

THE OBJECTIVE

Identify the right place to re-launch ASUS to the Pan-European Education market.

THE BETT SOLUTION

After a four-year sabbatical focused on the retail and commercial markets, ASUS returned to Bett in 2016 to relaunch the brand to the education technology sector. Bett is seen by ASUS as a centre of excellence that can drive sales opportunities for all companies in the EdTech world. Consequently, ASUS took the critical decision to book early and use this time to fully prepare for the show. Re-engaging with the Bett team, ASUS built a multi-media communication strategy to promote its presence at the show to both existing customers and new prospects. Due to this being a strategically important re-launch, ASUS utilised the full range of Bett promotional material in the Exhibitor Zone, together with the web banners, logos and digital buttons in emails and social media channels.
